Security
of client documents and data is a critical element within The
DEB's overall processing procedures. Procedures are in place
to receive, manage, monitor, control and keep secure all client
documents and data |
from
receipt to completion and sign off of the project. As documentation
and / or data is received at our processing centre, it is logged
in, assigned a production number, counted, batched, and assigned
batch numbers prior to being processed. This procedure loads
the work into the work process and generates the ability to
track and control the project throughout the production process.
The above control process is supported by a series of on-line
data backup procedures, including a backup server and backup
to a tape cartridge. Backup tapes are stored in a secure location
under management control.
In addition to the above process control procedures, The DEB
operates from a modern building equipped with monitored security
systems, fire alarms, emergency lighting and fireproof safes.
Access to the building can only be gained through a controlled
and monitored locked front reception door.

| The
Data Entry Bureau (DEB) and its sister company International
Data Processing Ltd. (IDP Ltd.) emulate one another in terms
of procedures, platforms and technology so that in the rare
event of an emergency or disaster breakdown, work can be transferred
immediately to the second site. With this arrangement we are
in a secure position to continue to service our clients. |

Prior
to employment, applicants are required to read and sign an "Employee
Confidentiality Agreement" for the protection of client documents
and data. Client confidentiality is a significant element during
induction training and subsequent Development programs.
All contractors and providers of services to The DEB, who may,
during the course of their work, have access to client data
and documents are also bound by confidentiality agreements.
